It finally happened! Tomáš Rosický returns to his club after successful spells in Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal!

‘Rosa’ joined the team on Tuesday afternoon, after speaking to media and trained with his new teammates for the first time. He agreed on a two-year deal with Sparta.

Rosický is a Sparta homegrown player, who started to get his first team experience in 1999 and won three league titles since then. He became a key player almost immediately and it became quite sure he would try his luck abroad soon.

He decided to join Borussia Dortmund in 2001 and scored 20 goals in his 149 matches for the German giants. He also became a German champion in 2002 and won the UEFA Cup in the same year.

In 2006, Rosický joined Arsenal and played for the Gunners for the next ten years. He made 170 appearances and scored 19 goals. He won the FA Cup twice, as well as the Community Shield.

Rosický has been an important part of the Czech national team. He played in 101 international matches and scored 22 goals. He played on four European championships and one World Cup.
