Once again Tomáš Rosický had came on as a sub during the second half and improved the team’s overall performance. However, not even then could Sparta get a better result against Crvena Zvezda. Rosický hopes the team will get to winning ways soon.

We put Crvena Zvezda under a pressure in the final twenty minutes. Why so late?

After we conceded, we would have to score four. In that moment, our goal was not to lose. We had the chances, and we needed something to start with, but nothing happened. We need to keep working as a team, look for positives.

Your presence on the pitch changed a lot. Was there a chance you would start from the beginning?

I’m still not ready for that physically. I was hoping to come on when the result is better, so we could press the opposition even more. We actually created the chances, but struggled to convert them.

It seemed like we were picking up the pace quite slowly in the beginning. Why?

Our play seems really complicated, the combination plays of the opposition were much better. We had like one shot on goal in the first thirty minutes. That’s not much, when you play a match you need to win at least by two goals.

The manager made a lot of changes in the line-up again. Do you think it’s about time to settle the line-up a little bit already?

When you’re building a new team with so many new players, it’s one of the negative aspects. In all three matches the starting line-up was different, which does not really help the team. All it takes is to find the right line-up with the best form.

Do you feel like your personal performance improves? You looked sharp!

It’s getting better and better every match, but it’s a match fitness question. I can’t tell what the situation will look like in the future.

We’ve had three unsuccessful matches now. Do you still feel optimistic about the club’s plan?

The decision was made and I trust it. It just needs time. If we don’t trust it, the situation won’t get any better.

But how long will it take before it all starts to work?

I don’t know, I have never been in this situation.

What’s your message for the fans, who have been amazing again?

The crowd was fantastic, as well as on Sunday against Bohemians. We’re all disappointed we couldn’t reward the fans with better performances. I don’t remember this kind of atmosphere from fifteen years back.
