Sparta get all three points in a 19th league round clash with Dukla. Josef Šural scored the game-winning goal after only five minutes of play.

A lot of changes were made in the starting line-up. Josef Šural and Václav Kadlec started from the very beginning after recovering from injury, Mareček and Holzer were ready on the bench and came on later in the match.

It was Josef Šural to open the score after only five minutes of play, moving from the left to the centre of the pitch and firing hard, giving Dukla’s keeper Rada no chance.

There was no luck after a number of crosses heading to the away team’s box, and Koubek – on the other side – made a good save on Šimůnek’s shot in the biggest chance of the opposition in the first half.

However in the second half, big chances finally started to come. Tetour fired just over the bar after Olayinka knocked the ball down for him in Sparta’s box. On the other side, Néstor’s volley went wide, Rada denied Šural in a good scoring position and a rebound by Václav Kadlec missed the empty net.

Dukla were eager to level the score – Koubek had to make a great save on Milošević’s shot, and when Sparta’s keeper seemed to be beaten, Josef Šural cleared the ball after Štetina’s shot from the goalline.

Tiémoko Konaté could seal the score in the final moments of the match, but failed to beat Rada from only a couple of metres away. That means only a 1-0 win for Sparta.
