Second leg of the second qualifying round of the Europa League has decided that our European journey will start in Serbia, as Crvena Zvezda have eliminated Pavlodar and advanced to the next round.

The Belgrade side recorded a 2-0 win after strikes by Donald and Srnić, and after a 1-1 away draw in the first leg they earned a spot in the next round.

First match will be played on July 27 in Belgrade, the second leg a week later – on August 3 – in Prague.

Crvena Zvezda have finished the previous season on the second spot, three points behind their city rivals Partizan. Srdjan Plavšić has joined Sparta from CZ this summer and will face his former club.


Crvena Zvezda line-ups in the second qualifying round:

Leg one: Manojlović - Stojković, Savić, Le Tallec, Andjelković - Jovićić, Donald - Srnić, Kanga (63‘ Milijas), Ricardinho (84‘ Ruiz) - Boakye (90‘ Raćić).

Leg two: Manojlović – Stojković, Savić, Le Tallec, Andjelković – Jovičić, Donald (90‘ Račić) – Srnić (81‘ Pešić), Kanga, Ricardinho (72‘ Ruiz) – Boakye.
