Sparta earned all the points for a great 2-0 win in Olomouc, and were led by Lukáš Mareček, who opened the score with the first league goal of his career.

Zdeněk Ščasný made two changes in the line-up, leaving out Costa, who’s still suspended, and returned Jusef Šural to the right wing.

Sparta started in pace, but Olomouc were defending well and kept Sparta away from the goal. It actually was the home side to create their first goal chance, as Mahmutovič headed the ball towards the goal after a counter attack, but David Bičík was there to tip it over the bar.

The home goalkeeper Buchta had to make his saves at the end of the first half. He denied Lafata in two good chances, and Frýdek missed the goal with his volley.

Buchta kept the home team’s hopes alive early in the second half, saving Šural’s shot from a breakaway. However, when Lukáš Mareček redirected Vácha’s shot, Buchta was finally beaten.

In the final minutes of the match, Lukáš Juliš scored Sparta’s second after a good individual effort by Vácha and set the final score.
