Twenty-two years old Russian defender Vyacheslav Karavaev has left Sparta Prague after one and half year with the club. Karavaev has completed his move to Vitesse Arnhem on Wednesday afternoon.

Karavaev started his career at CSKA Moscow academy and he was promoted to the first team in 2013.

He went for a loan spell to Dukla Prague for the 2014/2015 season and he played 29 league matches. He remained in the Czech First Division for the next season but he moved to Jablonec where he played 29 league matches again but he added three goals to his stats.

The permanent transfer from CSKA Moscow to Sparta Prague was confirmed in the summer 2016 and he became the member of our starting XI and he played 27 league matches and scored three goals.

He made only three league appearances in the current season in Sparta jersey and the board of the club decided he is available to search a new club during the winter transfer window.

Karavaev made 30 league appearances and scored three goals in total during his time with Sparta Prague. He also played 11 Europa League matches and scored one goal.

All the best for your next chapter, Kara!
