For the first time since the winter opener vs. Freiburg, Sparta did not win. Even though they earned another clean sheet in the back, they were struggling in the attack against the Hungarians.

Sparta had more possession, but chances were coming on both sides. Čermák’s curved shot just missed the goal, while Bičík made a tremendous save on Radó’s shot after a good pass by Moutari from the left.

David Lafata had a great chance from a corner, firing only to the Fradi’s goalkeeper Dibusz. Christian Frýdek the just missed the goal with a rebound.

Shortly before the break, Böde had a plenty of space in the box, but Michal Kadlec returned quickly and blocked the striker’s shot with a sliding tackle.

Sparta were the better team in the second half, but could not convert any of their chances. Dibusz made two good saves on long-range efforts by Vatajelu and Havelka, and when Václav Kadlec missed the goal after David Lafata knocked the ball down for him inside the penalty area, the match ended goalless.
