Sparta earned a single point for a goalless draw with Dukla Prague. Václav Kadlec and Jonathan Biabiany were close to the game-winner, Jan Holenda hit the post on the other side.

Andra Stramaccioni made no changes in the squad from last week‘ match against Teplice.

Dukla threatened after only four minutes of play, when Podaný found a long cross from a corner and Biabiany had to clear his header from the goalline.

French winger was the main man in the first half. First he showed a brilliant first touch after Štetina’s long pass, but missed the goal from a good shooting position. Then he crossed the ball from the right and found Václav Kadlec in front of the goal, but Dukla keeper Rada made a great save.

The home side was closest to the goal in the 64th minute, as Štetina failed to clear the ball, Jan Holenda won it and hit the post.

Sparta struggled to create chances in the second half. Mareček fired twice dangerously, but first forced Rada to make another save, then he missed the goal completely. Because of that, Sparta earn only a single point.
