The first summer friendly match – the first win. Sparta beat České Budějovice from Czech second tier 2-1 thanks to goals by Aleš Čermák and Patrik Schick. Both players came back from their loan spells.

Coach Zdeněk Ščasný named some youngsters in the starting XI like Milan Piško, Michal Sáček or Christian Frydek. Young striker Matěj Pulkrab was a captain.

The first real chance came in the 18th minute when Tiémoko Konaté found Frýdek in the penalty area but his shot was denied by defender on the goal-line.

Costa had another chance six minutes before the half time but he missed the target after quick solo between defenders.

About four hundreds fans saw the first goal in the 50th minute. Tiémoko Konaté was tripped down in the penalty box and Aleš Čermák converted penalty very calmly.

Budějovice equalised in the 71st minute after mistake in our defense when Jakub Pešek rounded goalkeeper and send the ball to the open net.

Just only five minutes later we were one goal ahead again when Čermák found Schick who deceived four defenders and scored with perfect placed shot.
