Sparta earned all the points at Bohemians, having put a good performance all over the pitch. Dočkal and Juliš secured the victory with two strikes in the first half.

Tomáš Koubek started in goal again, and Daniel Holzer got his first chance in the starting line-up. David Lafata, who usually is successful against Bohemians, only started on the bench.

Sparta needed a good performance, such as the one in the first half. Šural and Mareček had the first chances after only three minutes of play, but the both got denied by the home goalkeeper Fryšták.

However, when Zahustel crossed the ball shortly after that, Fryšták couldn’t hold the ball and Lukáš Juliš opened the score from a rebound.

Sparta kept the pace and soon doubled the lead. Zoran Gajič was too slow with passing the ball, Bořek Dočkal won it and chipped it over Fryšták to give Sparta a 2-0 lead.

Nothing changed in the second half, and it were still Sparta to control the play. Fryšták made two good saves on shots by Dočkal and Mazuch, but the lead stayed intact until the final whistle.
