The 287th Prague derby ends with a 1-1 draw. Václav Kadlec put Sparta in front with nine minutes remaining in the match, but Milan Škoda set the final score from the spot in the additional time.

Ondřej Mazuch got injured just before the match and had to be replaced by Lukáš Mareček, who played a tremendous match.

If you expected the home side to set the tempo, you were disappointed. It was an even match in Eden, however, with a minimum of chances.

Slavia threatened with a nice cross by Tecl, and a hard shot by Zmrhal, which went wide. On the other side, Václav Kadlec and Lafata were trying to reach Karavaev’s free kick inside the six yard box, but neither of them managed to knock it in.

Slavia had the first big chance of the second half, as Barák was approaching the goal from the left side, but Vácha managed to clear his dangerous cross at the last resort.

Things started to move in the last minutes of the match. Konaté crossed the ball from the right and Václav Kadlec had an easy task to hit the empty net and open the score.

However, Karavaev tackled Mingazov in the last seconds of the match to give Slavia a penalty kick, which was converted by Škoda without problems.
